Laws are complex and may change from time to time, and laws vary from country to country and from state to state. A violation of any such laws could result in significant penalties and other sanctions. The Buyer/User of these products should consult with an attorney to determine the extent of permissible activities. This is especially important if the Buyer/User intends to use a product for solicitation purposes (direct marketing, telemarketing, etc.). This section is devoted to helping you technically with legal compliancy with our products; however, this is not a substitute for legal counsel. In addition, none of our employees or representatives are attorneys, so their suggestions or advice are not to be relied upon.

The Buyer/User should be aware that he or she may be responsible for maintaining one or more “Do Not Call” lists. The US Federal government’s “National DNC” lists include numbers in each state, but many states also have their own separate “State DNC” lists. In addition, you may need to maintain a “private” Do Not Call list for people who are not on any national or state lists, but have asked you not to call them. If you are legally required to maintain Do Not Call lists, you may need to “scrub” your telephone lists monthly.
